The411:  A group of concerned citizens will gather today for the sake of safety.  They are calling it Victory In Victory, a public prayer meeting.  Starting at 12 noon volunteers will gather in Victory Park to show their solidarity and love for the neighborhood. The group says that people in any neighborhood should never be afraid to take their children to a public park.  They chose Victory Park which is located at 22nd Street between Kentucky and Greenwood because of its history with crime in the community.  There will be praying, singing, talking to people one-on-one as well as speakers who will talk about strategies to improve the safety of the parks and surrounding neighborhoods, and the responsibilities of Christian people to act on their faith and make a real difference in the communities outside the walls of their church buildings.
