The411:  Former football stars for UK and U of L giveback to area students

The411:  Former University of Kentucky and University of Louisville football stars join forces to give back to the community.  NFL standouts Keenan Burton with the St. Louis Ram  and Michael Bush with the Oakland Raiders along with 1+1=U, a non-profit organization based in Louisville, Kentucky provided some assistance to area students in fulfilling their college aspirations by giving away scholarships.
the Burton-Taylor College & Academic Scholarship went to two Central High School students.  They were recognized for having overcome socio-economic and family obstacles to achieve academic success.    
This year's scholarship recipients are Diamond Duncan and Kei'Andre Grindstead.   Duncan plans to attend Western Kentucky University and Grindstead the University of Kentucky.   This year's honorable mentions Alexus Davis, Ashley Hancox, Alexis Jeffries, Patricia Kolubah, Yessica Solarte and Jamaka Ward.  They received a $100 Visa Gift Card.
