The411: Welcome to this week's The411...
His work is displayed all over the United States but Louisville calls him a native son and now he's finally getting some well deserved national attention.  Ed Hamilton will be in New Orleans this weekend receiving the Carter G. Woodson Memorial Award from the National Education Association for his efforts in the human and civil rights realm.  Hamilton is best known for the Lincoln Memorial along the Ohio River here in Louisville, and the African American Civil War  Memorial in Washington, D.C.

The Louisville Science Center has a new interactive exhibit.  It's Sesame Street Presents:  The Body.  It's an initiative for healthy habits for life.  The center is calling the exhibit a free flowing learning experience. The exhibit runs through January 2, 2011.

What do you really know about facebook?  Fortune's former senior editor and author David Kirkpatrick will discuss his new book, "The Facebook Effect," on Wednesday, July 7th, at the Main Library on York Street.
