The411: Welcome to this week's The411, Fashion designer and Louisville native Fhonia Ellis of Rebirth Designs had her fashions debuted on national television. The co-host of BET's hit show 106 & Park, Rosci wore Ellis' designs on Tuesday night. Ellis says its exciting when she thinks about it. She used to watch the show and dream that some day she would be apart of it and now she is. What's on the horizon for Ellis? Well, it sounds like the sky's the limit for this young designer.
Also, Louisville's own Tim Laird appeared on ABCs World News Now Thursday morning. The CEO, Chief Entertaining Officer and author participated in their New Year's Bash preparation segment. He gave a Champagne 101 course...showing them the proper way to open a bottle during their New Year's celebration.

This week, the entertainment industry lost the Ivory Queen of Soul Teena Marie. She died in her sleep earlier this week.
Teena Marie performed at the Grand Gala during Derby weekend in 2009. Teena Marie was 54.
