This week's The411-buyer beware when it comes to events coming to Louisville. Some of the promoters are making promises they can't keep.
Facebook, was all abuzz the day before Valentine's Day. Hit stage play "Church Girl" was in town with a star-studded cast..One thing the show forgot to do was bring the stars. As consumer what can you do if anything when you think it's false advertising?
The Better Business Bureau calls it the "Bait and Switch". It's where promoters promise certain stars but they have no intentions on delivering. The BBB says when that happens to you please contact them and file a complaint. They in turn will find what state the company is registered and send the complaint to the BBB in that area.
So unfortunately, you are not entitled to a refund. The BBB says check out the history of the show and the promoter the next you plan to spend a substantial amount on tickets. Please note some people are saying they loved the show regardless of the cast members.
Make sure you follow me throughout the week on WHAS11.com in the entertainment section. If you have an event send it to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
