Welcome to this week's The 411. There's still a lot of assistance needed for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. There's international, national and locally people are also helping to collect money and supplies. In Kentuckiana many are using their talents to give back.
The 411 has received a lot of events where the proceeds will benefit the people of Haiti. I have posted future events in the entertainment section on WHAS11.com if you would like to support the cause.
After the U of L versus Rutgers men's basketball game make your way over to the post party benefiting the Family and Children's Place. It's the 23rd Annual Caper on Saturday, February 6th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Kentucky Fair and Expo Center in the South Wing. Tickets are only $20 and you get to eat from a variety of restaurants plus live and silent auctions.
For ticket information call 893-3900.
Now, if you have an event you would to have posted on the 411 please send it to the411@whas11.Com
If you like independent films I will have information on a festival that highlights local filmmakers.
I'm Sherlene Shanklin with this week's The 411 for WHAS11 News.
