¶ Welcome to this week's The 411....Before there was the ESPN AND1 Tour... the world famous Harlem Globetrotters originated  stunts and horseplay and they will be in Louisville for the team's 2010 Magical Memories World Tour.
What I remember are legends like Curly Neal, Geese Ausbie, Meadowlark Lemon and Sweet Lou Dunbar.  Today, they're just as much talent with players  Moo Moo Evans, Big Easy Lofton and Hot Shot Branch.
The Ambassadors of Goodwill will be in Louisville on January 16th at 7 p-m in Freedom Hall.
The 411 will be giving away tickets.  Go to the entertainment section to see how to win starting Monday.
and keeping with the basketball theme...The Indiana Pacers will have Louisville Night on Saturday, Janaury 23rd.  It's the Pacers versus the 76ers.  You can purchase tickets as cheap as five dollars.  You can buy tickets online at Ticketmaster.  To get the need to know that the password is LVILLE.
Have you ever wondered how to trace your family history and you have no idea where to start?  The Kentucky Historical Society and the Kentucky Genealogical Society are hosting a free family-history workshop.
The presentation will help you determine which websites will be helpful to your research and share helpful hints and resources to improve your genealogy research skills. The workshop will be Saturday, January 9th from 10:30am to 1:30 p.m.  at the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History in downtown Frankfort. To make a reservation, call 502-564-1792, ext. 4460.
