The411: Locust Grove wants you to jumps start your Derby with an Oaks Eve Celebration, Thursday, May 5th from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
They are asking you to come in your blue jeans, and enjoy live music from Louisville's own Still Kickin'. Guests will enjoy a raffle, a barbecue dinner and drinks from the Lexington Barrel House Distillery and Louisville's own micro-brew. The proceeds benefit Horse Aid Live, a non-profit which provides horse enthusiasts, horse industries and supporters of equines of all breeds a way to give one entity which then distributes annual grants to retrain, retire, and shelter equines of all breeds.
