(WHAS11) It’s an hour before show time and Big Sister Araby Thornewill and her Little Sister Kernisha Haymon are fulfilling their mission as a match, and the more Arts the better at Actor’s Theatre; before they walk in, the playwright for the night’s performance, a comedy called Bob, seeks them out.
Then it’s off to the main stage floor of Actors. The early rehearsals are underway. Araby is a former theatre major.
Thornewill and Haymon are not your typical match and their look behind the scenes is part of doing things differently; always. Haymon, a Seneca High School junior is hooked, and after two other Big Sisters she knows Araby is the right match.
