(WHAS11)  Shayne Moore, 8 years old, and his Big Brother Steve Nassau have beamed into the Louisville Science Center after hours; they gave us the place to ourselves to get to know this week’s Big Brother matchup, at the Star Trek Exhibit.

The place is full of the original models of the Enterprise that appeared on camera, plus the uniforms worn by the cast in the television shows and movies and props you can buy.

For Steve, who has lived in Louisville just a few years, this is his first visit to the Science Center.  For Shayne, Star Trek is mostly an unknown.

Shayne loves books and says reading is relaxing; that has impressed Steve.  They hit it off and try just about anything.

Shayne’s family is important to him; he loves his mom.  On this night, he’s learning about pop-history and what better way to end a night, television history.
