(WHAS11) -- From marathons right to the tennis court, a Louisville man and his wife have found a unique way to stay busy and occupy their spare time while feeling good at the same time.
They know their hard work is paying off for an 8-year-old boy who is one sharp customer.
WHAS11’s Doug Proffitt got to see a game of tennis at Louisville’s Advantage Tennis and Fitness Center on Dutchman's Lane in Dupont Circle.
The match up is big brother Mike Cook, and his little brother Colin Billups.
For Mike it's his second tour of duty as a big brother. The Humana employee and his wife Leslie, include Colin together when they are matched up.
Already in their one year match up, Colin says Mike's made a big difference in his life and learned some life lessons.
That makes Colin Billups one to watch out for in years to come.
For 22 years, WHAS11 has been profiling young people in Kentuckiana in hopes of helping Big Brothers and Big Sisters find matches for them. The success rate of the organization is very good.
You can make a huge difference in a young person's life. Call their Gardiner Lane offices at 1-877-588-2300. They make it easy for you to get started.
