(WHAS11) - The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana have a new home!
This completely renovated building will be the home to programs for bigs and littles.
A $1 million donation from Kosair Charities helped fund the renovation.
The building will house offices, meeting rooms and a community room for movies, training and games.
"This building is so important...we needed a place where big brothers and big sisters can come together in order to make those friendships as long and strong as possible," said Jeri Swinton, CEO Big Brothers Big Sisters.
This is the start of the second phase of a capital campaign to raise a total of $2.7 million for improvements to the programs for Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
They've already raised $2.4 million so far.
If you are interested in volunteering, Big Brothers Big Sisters wants to hear from you!
