LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- West Louisville is getting a new YMCA.
The proposed $13,000,000 facility at 18th and Broadway is expected to bring new investment and new partners into the Park Hill Neighborhood.
The branch will include a state-of-the-art fitness center and swimming pool, along with classrooms, locker rooms, and child care rooms. the building will also include space for partners that will provide access to medical and dental care, wellness and nutrition coaching and financial services.
Altria has donated a five-story warehouse that will be knocked down, to make room for the new facility.
