(WHAS11) - This Halloween season the Waverly Hills haunted house scared up a lot of money for the WHAS Crusade for Children.

For the ninth consecutive year, Waverly Hills and the Pleasure Ridge Fire Department have worked to deliver a Halloween treat to the Crusade.

This year's check from the haunted house at the former tuberculosis sanatorium brings the Waverly Hills total to $90,000 for children with special needs.

The haunted house will be open Friday and Saturday night for all the fright fans.
