WHAS11 awarded 5 emmys including special achievement award for overall station excellence

Louisville, KY- The 49th Annual Ohio Valley Regional Emmy Awards were held at a black-tie gala this past Saturday in Cincinnati, Ohio and WHAS11 was honored with five (5) Emmy Awards including the special achievement award for station excellence.
In addition, Bud Harbsmeier, long-time WHAS-TV reporter and Executive Vice President for the “WHAS Crusade for Children,” was inducted into the NATAS Gold Circle for fifty-plus years of exceptional service.
WHAS11 received the Emmy in the following categories:

In accepting the Emmy award for station excellence WHAS11 President and General Manager Linda Danna said, “It’s rewarding to see our commitment to broadcast journalism, service to our community, and overall station excellence recognized by our peers.”
