LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A final vote is expected to happen on Tuesday about the controversial proposed changes to the landmark ordinance.
The Louisville Metro Council's planning and zoning commission has been weighing the issue. A change would require any landmark designation to be approved by the Metro Council, instead of relying on the landmark's commission.
Those against it feel the council would take politics into considering when designating which areas should be landmarks.
