LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) - - After a ten day blackout, Viacom has restored 17 of its channels to DIRECTV subscribers.
The two companies have been feuding over fees. Details of the deal have not been made public.
DIRECTV claims Viacom wanted a 30 percent boost or an extra $1 billion on top of their prior deal. Viacom says the amount was "A couple pennies per day per subscriber."
The channels affected included MTV, Comedy Central, and Nickelodeon.
