LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Want to learn how to brew beer or start an organic garden? Those are some of the skills that will be taught in the University of Louisville's Lifelong Learning program in coming weeks.
UofL says 13 new enrichment classes are being introduced this semester. The classes include whiskey tasting, consignment shopping, mastering the use of Twitter, brewing beer and raising organic gardens.
Program director Anita Sturgill Block says the classes are "about living life fully."
She says the programs help people keep up with the latest trends.
UofL's Lifelong Learning offers more than 30 traditional face-to-face classes in addition to more than 300 online courses. Most classes are held at UofL's Shelby Campus and cost from $49 to $199, depending on the number of sessions and related supplies or books.
