(WHAS11) -- Two pieces of history arrived at the downtown wharf area Tuesday afternoon.

Two replicas of ships from Christopher Columbus' voyage, the Nina and the Pinta, docked at Joe's Crab Shack early Tuesday afternoon, and visitors will have the chance to tour them on Wednesday.  The ships will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day and admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors, $6 for students, and children four and under are free.

WHAS11's Michelle Arnold has a sneak preview of the historic ships.  Click on the video player to view.
