LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- On Sunday, thousands of motorcycles took over Jefferson County as part of the annual Toys for Tots Ride to Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

SKY11 was over the scene as 3,000 riders cruised through greater Louisville.

All of the riders donated toys to benefit local families in need.

Organizers said the motorcyclists who take part come from all over the state.

They believe they collected between 4,000 and 5,000 toys from this year's ride, but want to remind everyone that every toy counts and makes a difference.

In addition, the LouisvilleStreets.com car group had its own ride to benefit Toys for Tots on Sunday.

Around 200 toys were collected from that event.
