I went to the gift of lights last night and it was an embarassment to christmas itself. It was shameful display of poorly looking lights. The one picture that they show on there website is a fake and you will not see that during your 1 mile long drive. Yes only one mile with dark spots. It cost me $15, I didnt see this coupon before. Even the $11 price is a rip off. I drove 35 minutes from south of Louisville to show my girlfriend a un-romantic evening. Completely ruined it. If you really want to see some GOOD X-mas lights. Take the time to drive to Elizabethtown to Freeman Lake. I used to go there when I was a kid and it was 1000 times better. I will preach against this place any chance I get, it is just embarassing this is in Louisville and they charge money for it.

WHAS 11 should be ashamed to sponsor or advertise this so called light show. Seriously thought of going back to the beginning to ask for a refund. Absolutely will NOT recommend this to anyone. Take a big lesson from Mega Caverns. My yard lights are better. Waste of time and money and gas for me my children and my grandchildren. Thank god we were all in one car and only lost (suckered into) losing $15 and 5 minutes of our time. Needs ALOT of improvement!!!!!!!!!

Maybe we should contact another news station to feature an article on the rip off that the Gift of Lights presents. Seriously, just donate money and dont waste your time.

I can't believe you would even think this could be any kind of attraction - even FREE. And the prices you are charging -- you will never get one person back. I can't believe any reputable person in this community that wants advertising dollars spent wisely remotely thought this was one. You have NEVER EVER TRIED to make the Zoo a holiday experience and it is sitting there ripe for the picking. We don't do Halloween, like a lot of people in this city don't - they don't have children; they are elderly; they don't care for the night --- CHRISTMAS is a HOLIDAY for all the above people who are untapped to come to the zoo --- GET REAL FOLKS!!!!! Where is Metro Council when you need them!

We LOVED the Mega Cavern light show!!! What a unique experience!! We didn't know the cavern existed. We plan to go again, this time with other family members. And this will be another place to add to our list to take out of town visiters.
