We are all familar with the Keeneland Horse Sale held in Lexington but there's another type of sale going on and the highest bidder will have a horse in front of their business.
It's the Gallopalooza Live Auction. The live auction is on Friday, November 20th at the Seelbach at 7:30pm. Forty beautifully decorated fiberglass horses will be available. If you are unable to attend the live auction...some 60 others will be online for you to bid on.
The horses have been on public display on sidewalks and street corners throughout Louisville and surrounding counties. Gallopalooza was created in 2003 by Brightside.
They wanted a way to promote civic pride by partnering with citizens to keep Louisville clean, green and environmentally aware. For more information about the auction call 394-0978.
And Kentucky native Laura Kirkpatrick is the runner up on America's Next Top Model. The petite model is from Stanford, Kentucky which is about two hours away from Louisville. We would like to congratulate her for being a finalist.
