On this week’s The 411, Live Nation announced John Mayer is coming to Louisville in March.
It's the "Battle Studies" Tour with special guest Michael Franti and Spearhead on Saturday, March 13th in Freedom Hall at 8:00 p.m. Tickets go on sale November 21st and range from $30.50 to $66.00.
The Arts Council of Louisville will celebrate their Pre-Holiday Arts and Hospitality Party Friday, November 20th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at the Heyburn Building Lobby. Admission is only $15. For more information call 585-9525.
WHAS11’s Sherlene Shanklin was invited to the 1st Lace Wig Expo. She learned through Samantha's Closet that these wigs are becoming a popular trend worn by celebrities and women recovering from cancer. Sherlene met some wonderful strong women at this event as well as warning signs you need to take notice of and not ignore.
And Sherlene was also invited to hear a participant from BET's Sunday Best Season 2. It was Camille Betton. She placed in the Top 20. A native of Columbus, Ohio, she made the trip to Louisville singing at CrossLife Community Church and Broadway Temple AME Zion.
