LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- TARC is joining forces with multiple agencies to provide summer bus passes for area youth.
JCPS, Louisville Metro Government and Metro United Way are all partnering to provide the passes that are paid for through a grant.
Students in grades 5 through 12 are eligible for a pass if they are enrolled in their summer learning programs.
Those out-of-school programs begin next week and students can get the pass that allows them to access unlimited rides on all TARC routes free of charge through August 31.
