JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WHAS)--More than 850 breast cancer survivors gathered at Buckhead's Mountain Grill in Jeffersonville, Ind. Tuesday night for the Breast Cancer Survivor's Dinner.
WHAS11's Rachel Platt emceed the event that kicks-off the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
The race is this Saturday at Waterfront Park. The survivor celebration starts at 8:15 a.m. with the 5K run and walk getting underway at 9 a.m.
