Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - A Louisville school met some celebrities from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

They also gave back to the Lampe family in a huge way.

Dozens of students with Summit Academy cheered as one of the show’s designers, Ty Pennington, talked to Elite Homes.

The kids came up with a school fundraiser to help the Lampe family.

After tons of hard work, they raised $2,000 and presented a big check to the Elite Homes Charity Foundation.

Clayton Pusateri is Joe Pusateri’s son with Elite Homes. He’s also a Summit Academy of Louisville student.

Clayton says he’s seen the Patrick Hughes home and is pumped up to see his dad’s latest build.

“I love it when my dad did it the first time and I toured the house. I can’t wait to do it this time.”
