(WHAS 11)--Children at risk of falling behind in their reading skills this summer are getting some extra help this week.

The YMCA of greater Louisville is taking part in a learning loss prevention pilot program.

32 students from both Wheatley Elementary and Wellington Elementary will be taking part this week.

They'll get literacy instruction by certified teachers, as well as enrichment programs through art, music and more.
