(WHAS11) - A new study shows that even teenagers are concerned about their dependence on the internet.
The study by Common Sense Media found that 90 percent of surveyed teens use social media almost every day, which isn't surprising.
However, 33 percent of teens said they had flirted online with someone when they would not have in person. Another 25 percent said they have said something negative to someone online they they would not have said to a person's face.
Nearly half said they wish they could go dark and unplug everything every now and then.
