(WHAS11) - The newest Excel Award winner is a Spanish teacher from DuPont Manual High School in Louisville.
Tim Smith is a man for all seasons and is the fourth teacher in the Manual World Language Department to be honored for the Excel Award.
Tim Smith says the results of his teaching isn't so much what his students do in the classroom, but what they do with the language after they leave his classroom and Manual High School.
