LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Shoes are a cobbler's business and for one Louisville shoemaker business is big.

"This foot is from a man who is 6'8" maybe 300 pounds pretty good size fella, and this is Igor's foot," Alan Kleinman of Living Shoes in Louisville said.
Making a shoe for a foot as large as Igor's kept Kleinman up at night. He said he wondered how he would make it work.

"Am I nervous, uh, excitedly nervous. I'm doing this at no cost to Igor," Kleinman said.
Igor is a 30-year-old man who is 7 feet 8 inches and weighs more than 500 lbs. Needless to mention, he does not have average-sized feet.

"I think Shaq would float in his shoes," Kleinman said. "If I gave it a size, I'm guessing close to a 25."
Kleinman said he saw Igor on a talk show and knew he could help him. He found him on Facebook, but said Igor was a little reluctant to accept his offer. He'd had multiple offers before and nothing really worked out.

"I sent him a message and I said 'Igor I'm sitting in here watching the stupid television doing absolutely nothing pick up the phone and call me,'" Kleinman said.
Igor did, and Kleinman traveled to Igor's home in Minnesota to get a mold of his foot.
Kleinman made the shoe back at his shop in Louisville and he is presenting the shoe to Igor next week.

They may not be Nike's or Reebok's but Kleinman said you can't beat a cobbler's dream.

"I'm not sure, he really loves the way they look but I'm going to help him and nobody else can," Kleinman said.
