MARYSVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11)—Communities are showing signs of recovery as the two year anniversary of tornadoes devastating their towns nears.
On Saturday in Marysville, the community center was rededicated. On March 2, 2012 tornadoes tore apart the building, in addition to the church across the streets and dozens of homes.
The disaster recovery group “March 2 Recovery” helped residents and the community come together to rebuild.
Parishoners of St. Francis Xavier Church in Henryville will come together on Sunday to bless and dedicate a memorial honoring the 34 people killed during the tornado outbreak.
