LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The Raptor Rehabilitation of Kentucky Inc. (RROKI), the state's largest bird of prey center, released juvenile Red Shouldered Hawks on Saturday.

The release was held at the William F. Miles Trailhead Parking Lot at Beckley Creek Park in the Parklands off Shelbyville Road.

The birds came in this spring as either chicks or fledglings and were housed in a flight cage, trained on live prey, and were determined to be ready for release.
