Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Most of the parking for PGA fans is on the vast lots at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium and Churchill Downs followed by a cross town ride on a shuttle bus. Now, because of the excessive rainfall on Friday, a rain plan has been implemented for August 9.

All of the public parking at Churchill Downs and Papa John's is the same.

All volunteers will park at Churchill Downs. Churchill Downs will begin running shuttles for the volunteers at 4:30 a.m. so they can make it on time for their first shifts.

The rain plan also closes a nearby paid parking lot called, the distillery lot, and moves those fans to Southeast Christian Church with a shuttle provided.

The fans and the golfers will find a golf course that is still a little soft or even muddy.

There are no immediate plans to cancel any of the games. Officials said they hope the mud will dry before 8:30 a.m., the first scheduled tee time, but if it doesn't, they recommend wearing some comfortable shoes that you can walk, and ones you can hopefully clean at the end of the day.
