LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Members of the Louisville Metro Police Department 2nd division, Metro councilwoman Attica Scott  and the Richmont Neighborhood Association will come together Monday night to help strengthen the relationship between the community and police.

They are all participating in a public safety walk in an effort to calm residents' fears after a man was wounded during in a shooting on Broadleaf Drive Halloween night.

Participants are asked to meet at the Highland Park Missionary Baptist Church on Shanks Lane. The walk begins at 5 p.m.
