SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. (WHAS 11)-- Big time shopping choices could be coming to interstate 64 in Shelby County.

Tuesday, the planning commission voted to approve a zoning change that would allow a second outlet mall to be built off I-64 in Simpsonville.

The proposal will go before the Simpsonville City Commission for a final vote.

If all goes through, the outlet mall will open by 2014 and house stores like Saks Fifth Avenue and Ralph Lauren.
