(WHAS11) -- Students at St. Leonard's Preschool are helping make the holidays brighter for children at the Home of the Innocents.

The students each brought in a new pair of pajamas to donate to children at the home.

It's the preschoolers' first service project.

“For each pair of PJ's we donate to the home, scholastic books also donates a new book to the Home of the Innocents so the kids here can have a warm pair of PJ’s and a new book to read each night,” Laura Emly, St. Leonard Preschool, said.

The preschoolers also got to visit with the children at the home.

If you'd like to help out they are in need of donations of twin size sheets and comforters, body wash, toothpaste and adult diapers.

You can drop them off at the Home of the Innocents on East Market Street.
