Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - They're called elephant doors and the KFC Yum! Center has them. But Thursday was the first time that actual elephants walked through the large doorways.

Thursday afternoon the animals rehearsed for ‘Ringling Brothers Fully Charged’ show.
With riders on top, the elephants walked single file through the halls of the KFC Yum! Center.
But organizers say it wasn't easy to get them there, or the rest of the circus.

“It's what some people would call a logistical nightmare. It is all about logistics from moving them from the train to moving them to the building to traveling over the road. Certain animals go over the road; certain animals travel by train, to even managing what people are coming in to what point in time to set all this up that we have,” said Assistant General Manager of the Ringling Brothers Circus, David Bailey.

Here is a list of show times:

Thurs – 7:30 p.m.
Fri – 7:30 p.m.
