LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – It’s the first of its kind addition to Seneca Park in Louisville. With more and more people bicycling the Olmsted Parks Conservancy installed the city's first bike repair stand.

This will allow cyclists to put air into flat tires, adjust their seat heights or their brakes.

The stand has an air pump and basic tools so that cyclists won't have to carry them when they go out on a ride.

The stand was donated by Parkside Bikes which says this could be the first of many that are installed around town.

"This repair station here in Seneca Park is the first of what we hope to be many that we're able to place in other key places or other Olmsted Parks such as Cherokee, Iroquois or down on the river,” Ben Botkins, Parkside Bikes, said. “We're just going to see what usage this one gets and determine where the next one should be."

The repair station is located in Seneca Park in the parking area of Pewee Reese and Cherokee Garden Drive.
