Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Jefferson County Public Schools had a big victory Thursday.
A judge dismissed a lawsuit by parents to enroll their children in the school of their choice.
They had argued the current student assignment plan violated state law.
JCPS Superintendent Dr. Sheldon Berman stopped by WHAS11 News to talk about the lawsuit and how the district is preparing for the back-to-school rush.
