Museum Row attractions unveil “The Main Ticket”

Louisville, KY -  August 9, 2013 – Louisville, Kentucky has joined the ranks of Chicago, New York City and Atlanta by now offering a discounted pass for some of the city’s top attractions.  A bundled ticket comprised of six of Louisville’s “Museum Row on Main” attractions is now on sale, offering a savings of almost 50% off regular admission prices. Attractions participating in “The Main Ticket” are:

•         The Frazier History Museum
•         Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft
•         Kentucky Science Center
•         KentuckyShow!
•         Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory
•         Muhammad Ali Center

 “The Museum Row on Main partners are excited to offer this special discounted ticket,” said Anne Jewell, Executive Director of Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory. “This is something Louisville has talked about for years, but until Museum Row created The Main Ticket in partnership with the Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau, it had not been possible. We now have another great example of Possibility City at work.”
An adult ticket is $29.99 and a children’s ticket (ages 6 through 12) is $23.99. The Main Ticket is valid for one year from the date of purchase, and can be bought online through the Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau at or in person at the Louisville Visitors Center, 301 South Fourth Street, Louisville, KY 40202.  Purchases of the Main Ticket at the Visitor Center must be made by credit card only.
The Visitors Center is open Monday through Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday noon to 5pm with special extended hours during daylight saving time, limited hours on some major holidays and is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
