LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- This year's version of Thunder, 2011 was a little wetter, and the masses were not able to converge 700,000 strong on both sides of the Ohio as in years past, but the weather did not stop thousands from celebrating and enjoying one of Louisville's favorite parties.

When Mother Nature forced many Thunder goers to take their party inside this year, The Galt House was one of the spots where many held their private parties; in every form imaginable, from the groups huddled along the walls to keep warm, to the groups who made reservations and staked out prime spots in the Conservatory, Thunder goers pulled off another great party... in spite the weather.
