LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Metro Public Works is seeking public comment on the Brownsboro Road Diet Project.

The plan would reduce Brownsboro Road from four lanes to two between Ewing Avenue and Pop Street in the Clifton Neighborhood. The change would also include a turning lane and the addition of sidewalks to the area.

Some business owners in the area say they are against the plan.

You can voice your opinion by sending an e-mail to brownsbororoaddiet@louisvilleky.gov or by sending a letter to:

Brownsboro Road Diet Comments
c/o Metro Public Works
444. S. 5th Street Suite 400

The comment period will close Sunday, April 29.
