SELLERSBURG, Ind. (News Release) -- The Liberty Foundation's 2012 Salute to Veterans tour will be arriving in the Louisville area at the Clark County Airport and on display will be the famous Boeing B-17 "Memphis Belle."
65 years ago, B-17 and P-40 aircraft flew from bases far from home in an attempt to bring freedom to oppressed peoples. "Memphis Belle" is a living museum. You are invited to come touch the past and fly through the ageless skies.
The Memphis Belle will fly between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 29 - Sunday, September 30 with ground tours after the day's flights. B-17 flights are $450 for non Liberty Foundation members and $410 for foundation members. Call 918-340-0243 to schedule your flight.
