(WHAS11) Medicaid patients using Planned Parenthood in Indiana will continue to have their services paid for through June 15. The organization says they have received more than $100,000 in donations from 46 states and several countries.
Donors are responding to a new Indiana law that cuts off much of the group’s public funding because they perform abortions.
A federal judge has set a June 6 hearing on Planned Parenthood’s request for an injunction to block the new law. The judge has said she’ll rule on the matter by July 1.
