LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)-- Mayor Greg Fischer hosted a public forum focused on West End restoration on Thursday night.
The mayor gave residents the chance to ask questions that were important to them. Topics ranged from violence, abandoned houses and the lack of work.
SOUP, a group hoping to play a part in creating some kind of West End’s renaissance, sponsored the meeting in collaboration with the West Louisville Urban Coalition.
The meeting enabled the mayor to provide contact information to three community members to help them move forward with their ideas to help the neighborhood.
