LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Manual High School has more Excel Award winning teachers than any school. On Wednesday they added one more teacher to that list.
Alesia Williams teaches Writing and AP English at Manual, and although her classes are difficult, the students love her.
Alesia Williams “places an emphasis on academic rigor while giving her students
as close to a college experience as possible,” Larry Wooldridge, principal at
duPont Manual High, said. “Ms. Williams is truly a teacher who cares about her
students and strives to provide instruction that is both challenging and fun.”
WHAS11's Gary Roedmeier was at Manual to present the award and had more to share about Williams.
