LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Relief is coming to several Louisville neighborhoods that have been filing up with trash. On Monday the garbage will be picked up.
Last Monday, the day after New Year’s, many neighborhoods were skipped in an effort to save money.
Also starting Monday, customers will have a new trash pickup day. The city sent notices to nearly 78,000 people last week to alert them of the new pickup schedule.
Just a reminder that trash will not be picked up January 16 because of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday.
