LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The mayor of Louisville announced his vision for parts of the West End today.
Louisville Central Community Centers and the mayor unveiled a transformational vision for Muhammad Ali from Ninth Street to 21st Street.
It will be called West of Ninth.
The vision includes a new park with recreational fields, an expansion of the Louisville Central Community Centers and a new Muhammad Ali Heritage Park.
Public meetings are scheduled to get community input and support.
They will be held November 12 at 2 p.m. and November 14 at 5 p.m. at the Old Walnut Street Atrium.
