LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- For one day, five-year-old Miley Montana Hodge is getting the royal treatment. Hair and make-up appointments are a sharp contrast to her normal routine, because Miley is battling a rare form of terminal bone cancer.

It's been a rough road for Miley, her 12-year-old sister Kenzie and their father Bert Woodorne. Miley has gone through three surgeries and 10 weeks of chemotherapy. Through community support, friends and donations both young girls are getting the star treatment complete with a limo ride and photo shoot.

Miley and Kenzie's day started at Z Salon for hair, nails and makeup. Afterwards, the two went to Nulu Studio for a photo shoot by Josh Meridith of Bella Grace Photography.

The girls' father  says he hopes people hear Miley's story and are inspired to help other children battling cancer.  Her dad says doctors have not been able to tell him how long his daughter will live. He says he is focused on enjoying the time he has with his daughter, not about how long it will last.

You can follow Miley's journey on her Facebook page Prayers for Miley.
