(WHAS11)  Mean girls at school are nothing new, but one Louisville author is hoping her new book can do something about it.

Nice and Mean tells the story of two girls, one nice and one mean, who are forced to work together and learn how to get along.  The book has been named to the “Summer 2010 Children’s IndieNext List”.

Nice and Mean’s author, Jessica Leader, stopped by the WHAS11 studios to talk more about her book.

You should be able to find a copy of  Nice and Mean at your local bookstore.  Jessica will also be visiting area schools this fall to discuss the book.
